Phantom Foods is built to be fun, not creepy. We collect as little as possible and we do not sell your data.
The app does not require an account or personal information. We store an anonymous device identifier (a randomly generated UUID) and your in-game progress (savings, streaks, unlocks, etc.) locally on your device and in an anonymous cloud sync bucket so your progress can follow you across devices.
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal data. We don’t have any personal data to sell in the first place.
If advertising is enabled in the future, third-party ad partners (such as Google AdSense) may use cookies or similar technologies to serve relevant ads. Those partners operate under their own privacy policies. You can control ad personalization through your device and browser settings.
Your game progress is kept for as long as you use the app. If you stop playing, cloud data may be cleaned up periodically. Local data remains until you clear your browser storage.
You can view your anonymous sync code in Settings. You can also clear your browser’s localStorage to remove all local data at any time.
